Campaigns, conversations, and the details that change a send
How Text Blaster, the inbox, contacts, phone numbers, opt-outs, credits, and the API behave in Statxt — the same subjects as the product guides, written as articles.

What to check before a text campaign goes out
Text Blaster sends one message to the groups you pick. The cost, the opt-out footer, and the people you already texted today are the checks that matter before you launch.

What a text costs, in segments or as a picture
A plain text is one credit per segment, and one emoji can double that. A picture is a flat 1.5 credits no matter how long the caption is.

What actually counts as an opt-out
STOP is the obvious case. Clear phrases, an AI check on unclear replies, hostile wording, and quiet hours all decide whether the next text goes out.

Keeping a text inbox moving
Search, the right-click menu, and bulk reply cover the day-to-day of Messages. A few of those actions also write to the DNC list, so they are not just filing.

What a contact import leaves out on purpose
A CSV import is four steps, and the summary is the part that matters. Duplicates, DNC numbers, failed numbers, and rows without a usable phone never become a second contact.

How a 10DLC registration actually gets filed
US carriers expect a registered brand before you text from a local number. In Statxt that is one intake under Compliance, then a review you cannot edit from the form.

Groups choose who gets the text
A contact group is a fixed list of up to 5,000 people. It is the audience picker in Text Blaster. Tags and filters do not take its place.

Use your own short links, not a public shortener
Campaigns reject bit.ly and TinyURL. Statxt replaces an HTTPS URL with a click.statxt.com link per recipient so you can see who tapped.

Change one thing in an A/B text test
Text Blaster can split a campaign 50/50 between two messages. The reply rate is only readable after each variant has enough deliveries, and opt-outs count too.

Save the message once, in the right place
Campaign templates are shared and fill in merge fields at send time. Quick replies are yours alone, and inserting one only fills the box.

Rewrite the angle, then polish the sentence
AI Suggest in Text Blaster offers compliant rewrites or a framework when you have no draft. Polish only tightens the draft you already like.

A text that sends itself on the weekdays you pick
Auto-blast repeats one message to your groups on a schedule you own. Replies can take someone off later runs, and only one schedule sends at a time.

One message, split across the team's numbers
A round-robin blast sends the same copy from each teammate's own line. Replies stay with the person who sent them, unless you ask for a copy.

Answer the queue without opening every thread
Quick chat lines up people waiting on you, newest first, with a draft already in the box. Skip the thank-yous. Hand the hard ones back if you have agents.

Where the team talks about a thread
Team Chat is the internal room, not the customer inbox. Mentions, shared contacts, SMS threads, and reports stay with the people who need the context.

Find the contact before you text them
All Contacts searches names, phones, email, and company, then filters down to a group, a tag, an import, or the DNC list. Bulk actions stop at 5,000.

Tags find people. Groups choose them.
A tag is a label on the contact, added from Contacts, Messages, or a campaign. Filtering by it is not the same as sending a blast to it.

When a Statxt number should be rotated
Telephony shows only the numbers assigned to you. Rotate number swaps a line once its 30-day health is below 7.0, and the new number keeps the campaign.

Ring your cell when a Statxt number is called
Forward calls to, on your own profile, sends voice calls for every voice-capable number assigned to you. Texts still arrive in Messages.

Stop texting numbers carriers already rejected
The Failed Number Directory blocks numbers that came back undeliverable. Most error codes count after one failure. A reply from that number clears the block.

Delivered is not the same as replied
Campaign details count recipients, segments, failures, skips, and STOP replies. Reports then list every failure or every reply, including people who got the text and said nothing.

The daily cap is counted in segments
Campaign usage shows how much of today's brand limit you have left. Outbound Messages is the log of every text, and the end date is easy to set one day short.

Whose credits pay for the send
You have a personal wallet and a shared org pool. Statxt spends your wallet first. Managers and members cannot draw on the pool until someone allocates credits to them.

Sheets for the list, STATXE for the other inbox
Integrations connects Google so you can import a spreadsheet, and STATXE so contacts can move between the two products. The import itself still happens in Contacts.

What the bell is for, and what it will not catch
The bell collects missed calls, unread texts, and AI escalations. Toasts, email reminders, and the campaign safety window are separate switches, and they are yours alone.

Add a second way to prove it is you
Settings, Security enrolls a passkey, an authenticator app, a text code, or an email code. One method is enough to sign in. Two methods are what keep you from getting locked out.

Invite a teammate, or link their company instead
Internal Team adds a person to your workspace with a role. A Team Extension links a partner's own Statxt organization and leaves their billing alone.

An API key and an MCP connection are different doors
The Public API sends texts with a bearer key. MCP lets an AI app act in your account after you approve it. Live keys wait on an approved 10DLC registration.
