What the bell is for, and what it will not catch
The bell collects missed calls, unread texts, and AI escalations. Toasts, email reminders, and the campaign safety window are separate switches, and they are yours alone.
Notification settings are personal. Teammates set their own, and nothing here saves a workspace-wide policy except the effect of the safety window when you are the one sending.
The bell in the navigation shows a red count when something needs you. Open it for missed calls, unread texts, and AI escalations. Click an item to jump to the conversation or page. Unread rows have a dot. Mark read clears the count. Clear empties the list. Starting the day there is more reliable than scrolling the inbox to see what you missed.
Toasts are a browser setting
Message toasts are the pop-ups for new texts while you are elsewhere in Statxt. They do not appear when you are already on Messages. Click your profile picture, then Message toasts, to turn them on or off. Clear all removes toasts waiting on screen. The choice is stored in the browser, so set it on each computer. Turn them off when you need a quiet hour. The bell still collects the same events.
Email and push save themselves
Settings, Notifications has no save button. Email notifications and Push notifications are separate sections. Outstanding conversation reminders email you when threads are still waiting. Remind me after runs from 1 to 168 hours, and the default is 6. Reminders only go out after you have been away from Statxt for at least an hour, and they repeat on that schedule while conversations stay unread. Match the delay to how fast you actually promise to reply. A one-hour reminder you will ignore is just noise.
Mobile push sends new inbound texts to the Statxt app for the teammate the conversation is assigned to, or its owner if it is unassigned. Turn it off if you only read texts at a desk. Desktop notifications and sound have their own switches.
The safety window is the anti-double-text
Campaign Audience Safety decides who counts as "texted recently" before a blast. Everyone on my team counts any send from the workspace. Only my messages counts yours alone. The lookback can be hours, days, or weeks, from 1 hour to 30 days, and the default is 24 hours. The blast then uses that window. Whether you exclude those people or continue is the choice on the send itself, covered in the Send a Campaign guide. For a promotion, a lookback of a few days is the setting that stops two teammates from hitting the same list in the same week.
The click-by-click version lives in the Notifications guide.

The guides cover these same workflows step by step, with the screens you will actually use.
