Use your own short links, not a public shortener
Campaigns reject bit.ly and TinyURL. Statxt replaces an HTTPS URL with a click.statxt.com link per recipient so you can see who tapped.
A raw URL in a campaign is hard to measure and, if it is a public shortener, often filtered. Statxt's tracking links live on click.statxt.com. Each recipient gets their own link, the tap redirects immediately, and the click is logged in the background so you can see who was interested.
What you can paste
In Text Blaster, paste a full HTTPS URL. Statxt detects it and shows how many trackable links it found. HTTP, private hosts, and internal addresses are rejected. Public shorteners such as bit.ly and TinyURL are blocked in campaigns. Do not paste a click.statxt.com link you made in Link Maker into a campaign either. Campaigns generate their own per-recipient links at send time.
For a destination you reuse, insert a tracked link field such as {tracked_link:application} from the Tracked links picker and set the destination before sending. Custom lets you name a new key. Every field needs a destination or the campaign will not send. The recipient still gets a unique short link.
The link can cost a segment
Tracking links are often longer than the URL you typed. Text Blaster warns you when Track clicks may increase the segment count. If you are just over a boundary, cut other words before you add a second link. How that extra length becomes another credit is the Characters & Segments guide. One clear call to action usually gets more taps than several competing URLs, and the report is easier to read when the field key is something like application or promo rather than link1.
One-off links live in Settings
Settings, Tracking links is for a single text, a social post, or a reusable apply link that is not a campaign. Paste the destination, create the link, and copy it. Archive the ones from finished promotions so the list stays about what is live.
Open a campaign for that send's numbers, or the Tracking links dashboard in Settings for the workspace. Total clicks counts every tap. Unique clicks counts each contact once. CTR and repeat clicks show how engaged people were. Top links, devices, and browsers are there too. Bot traffic is filtered and click floods are rate-limited. Because unique clicks are tied to contacts, the follow-up is a list of people, not a vanity total.
The click-by-click version lives in the Tracking Links guide.
