Find the contact before you text them
All Contacts searches names, phones, email, and company, then filters down to a group, a tag, an import, or the DNC list. Bulk actions stop at 5,000.
All Contacts is the full list, with a count of total contacts, groups, subscribed, and unsubscribed. Search matches first name, last name, email, company, and phone, including part of a number. Clicking Subscribed or Unsubscribed filters to that status. Click again to clear it.
Filters are chips you can remove
The filter panel covers group (or no group), last contacted, created date, import batch, status, DNC, bounced, phone validation, and tag. Apply filters, then each one shows as a chip. Clear all, or Reset all inside the panel, starts over. Sort presets are newest, name A to Z, last contacted, and oldest created. You can also click a column header. Save current view stores the filters and sort in this browser, up to 20 views. They are not shared with the team, and they do not follow you to another computer. Page size is 50, 100, 250, or 1,000 rows.
The profile is four tabs
Click a person. Details shows groups, tags, contact info, custom fields, and statistics, and you can add or remove groups there. Notes holds your notes and call transcriptions. Activity lists tracked link clicks. Call at the bottom starts a call. Edit changes name, email, company, custom fields, and phones. A contact can have several numbers, with one marked primary. The row menu does the smaller edit in place: name, phone, and email, plus Message, Call, Add to group, Add tag, Add to DNC, and Delete.
Bulk work has a ceiling
Tick rows and a bar appears. Select page takes the current page. Select all matching takes everyone who fits the filters, up to 5,000. Add tags and Add to group apply to the selection. Text blast saves the selection as a new group and opens Text Blaster with it selected. Add to DNC and Delete ask you to confirm. Delete cannot be undone, which is why an opt-out belongs on the DNC list instead. If you need to act on more than 5,000, narrow the filters and repeat.
Add Contact in the header wants the phone in +1 format, and you can add more numbers. Fill in Source, such as Website or Referral, when you type someone in by hand. After an import, the Import batch filter is how you check that the file landed the way you expected.
The click-by-click version lives in the Manage Contacts guide.
Walk through it in the product
The guides cover these same workflows step by step, with the screens you will actually use.
